"Concrete Table and Chairs"
Ilene Berman has lived in St. Louis since 1991. She has created several public sculptures in the city of St. Louis. In 2007, Ilene was accepted into graduate school at Southern Illinois University - Edwardsville where she is currently studying sculpture under the direction of sculptor Thad Duhigg. Her thesis exhibition explores issues of privilege and race and will take place in Spring 2010 at the site of her public installation NODhouse - North of Delmar on an empty lot 2 1/2 blocks north of Delmar Avenue on Grand Boulevard. Ilene will graduate with her Masters of Fine Arts in Spring 2010.
