Carl Safe is a practicing Architect (Carl Safe  Design Consultants), a Professor of Architecture at the Washington University School of Architecture and a photographer. His photography, including his most recent exhibit, "Cuba Si!", focuses on the ability of photographs to tell stories about the human condition.

Carl was educated at the University of Minnesota and Yale University.
