Adam Watkins is a St. Louis-based multimedia artist and Art Instructor at East CentralCollege (Union, MO).

He graduated with an MFA in 2000 from the Kent Institute of Art and Design in Canterbury, UK and has a BFA from Webster University 1997. 

He contributed to the recently published book, Tour: Smart by Martin Atkins (PIL, Pigface, Killing Joke, NIN, The Damage Manual, Invisible Records Founder, Instructor at Columbia College etc.) alongside: Henry Rollins (Rollins Band, Black Flag, Radio DJ, Author, Actor), Cynthia Plastercaster  (artist, fan, collector, author, and rock/cockumentarian), Steve Blush (Author/Journalist), Chris Connelly (Ministry, The Revolting Cocks, and solo artist), Curse Mackey (vocalist, composer, art curator, DJ and producer), Jim Holihan (Al Gore's National Campaign Scheduler) and many, many more.

Recently Adam completed an experimental audio piece in London with Sterling Roswell (Spacemen 3, The Darkside) and the late, Sky Sunlight Saxon (The Seeds) , Arthur Lager (The Scientists, Gallon Drunk) and more.

His work deals with the notions of the post-pop culture that we live in and the constant re-contextualization of it alongside his own personal translations of Derrida's theories on Ontology regarding the future, the past, "ghosts", being and machines...
